Brad Lloyd Returns for Kawana FC’s Season 2023

Kawana FC is pleased to announce that Brad Lloyd has agreed to terms and will remain the Club’s FQPL3 Head Coach for Season 2023.

In addition, Brad has agreed to be the Club Coaching Co-Ordinator and will guide our Juniors via their respective Coaches in playing the Kawana FC style of attacking football that has been successful over many seasons.

Club President, Adam Shelly said “We’re delighted to have Brad on board for another season as Head Coach. Brad has just returned from a tour of the UK, where he got to see the set-up of many top Premier League Youth Academies & learn firsthand their structures and playing styles which he’ll no doubt pass on to our Juniors in the CCC capacity”

On the announcement, Brad had this to say

“I’m really looking forward to the 2023 season and believe we can continue to grow and improve on the great work we did this year. We’ve got a great club, the best community club, behind us and with the majority of the first-team squad returning along with the fantastic young group of 23s, I’m sure we can reach our potential. My immediate goal will be to finalise the coaching staff and playing roster but I think it’s not too unrealistic to have finals football as a target for this group.

As for the club coaching coordinator role, this is something I’ve helped the club with for the past few years but I guess it’s just now official. Our goal at the club is to continue along our community pathway, to encourage players of all ages and abilities to play the game and hopefully we, as a coaching group, can give them the tools to enjoy the sport and the friendships and life lessons that come with our great game.”

Please join us in congratulating Brad when you see him.
