Let’s show our support for Brayden and the team!

To play 150 games is an achievement in its self but to play them in the first team, where you have to earn selection in highly competitive squads,is an incredible achievement and to do it at such a young age is even more impressive.

Brays journey at the club followed that of any kid starting out. He was introduced by his dad and played with his mates as most kids do. Soon it became obvious that he had some talent for the game and ventured off to the NPL junior program where the focus is more about players development and the intensity and quality of the program helped Bray develop the skills and knowledge that has set him up for where he is today.

Bray returned to play senior football at the club, another big challenge for a young player. All of a sudden he’s competing against season players and not just any season players some of the best our club and the coast has seen. It took him a while to adjust but once he did he thrived in that tough, physical environment and as soon as he got the taste for first team football he quickly became a regular contributor to our success.

Bray has had a decorated time at the club, in an era that has seen the first team win trophies, compete in big games and he’s done it all in one of the most competitive positions. He became one of the youngest club captains in 2023 another position which he thrived in, again it took him a while to find his style as a leader but now he is a confident leader and leads with experience, talent and passion.  Congratulations Bray on 150 first team games, your passion for the game and your team is inspiring but it’s your passion for our club that makes you keep coming back, competing, putting your body on the line and inspiring those around you

It’s been pleasing to witness Bray come full circle in his development — from a Miniroo, to being challenged as a young and upcoming talent in the men’s teams, to now challenging those coming through the ranks.

As both a head coach and a father, it’s a special moment to see the love and commitment he’s shown to the club, and to those who have been a part of his journey.

Bray is the kind of player you want in your team, but hate to play against. At only 25 years of age, with some of his best years still ahead of him, I look forward to seeing him continue to add to what has already been a brilliant and accomplished time at the club.

Congratulations on 150 games — see you at 200.
