The Morey Tonen Carnival has been running for 37 years since founded in 1985 as an under 7 and 8’s day in memory of Morey Tonen, one of the clubs founding members. Since then the day has evolved into one of the biggest events of the year at Kawana Football Club and one that each and every member looks forward to.
This year the carnival is to be held on Saturday August 13.
Countdown to Kick-Off!
We’d like to extend a big thank you to our long standing partnership with Emro. Who kindly donate the participation medals for the kids. These medals are unique and extremely recognisable and we thank them for the ongoing commitment to support the growth of youth sport on the Sunshine Coast.
A Few Notes For the Day:
Please remember to park only in allocated spaces or as directed by car park marshals.
NO parking in surrounding business car parks, even if the business is closed.
Also, it will be a very busy event so no dogs/pets are allowed.
There is to be no smoking or vaping allowed in the fenced area.
Carnival draws have been sent out, however, the best way to keep up on all game fixtures is via the Game Day app available on your smart device
At the end of the day we’ll round it out as the Kawana FC Under 23s take on NYU, so stick around for some senior football action.
